My Grandma Shank has her appointment with the cancer doctor today at 4 p.m. EST. Please pray for my Grandma, Mom, and Aunt Sandy as they go to this appointment. The doctor will be talking to my grandma about treatment options (if there are any) and her life expectancy. We've been enjoying the bliss of ignorance these past few weeks after finding out she has stage 4 lung cancer. Today will be hard to hear the predictions the doctor has for the future.
My grandma is an incredibly optimistic person which is making this sad news easier on us, but I do pray that she will continue to have high spirits. It has to be of the Lord that she is able to approach this situation with such a good attitude. She will see the good in this no matter what the doctor tells her today.
